This past weekend was the annual Variety telethon where volunteers help raise money for Variety – the Childrens Charity. The charity’s goal is to support Iowa kids with needs – from a new wheelchair to a camp scholarship to a backpack filled with back to school supplies. And since 1975, they’ve raised more than $90 million dollars for this worthy cause. Sparboe’s own Sheila Baker has been a participant in this Charity and is proud to feed the hungry volunteers Sparboe Farms eggs on Sunday morning.
